Industrial designer with over 25 years of experience in product, lighting, furniture and interior design.

I’m an industrial designer based in Valencia, with a career spanning more than 25 years across product design, lighting, furniture and interior design.

I graduated in Industrial Design from Escola Massana in Barcelona in 1998 and continued my studies at Bergen Academy of Art and Design in Norway, specialising in furniture and ceramics.

My early work received several design recognitions, including the Best Original Design Award at the Fundació Miró Toy Design Competition, a Special Mention from Escola Massana for a footwear project developed for Camper, and two ADI-FAD awards. I also participated in international exhibitions such as Ceramic Network Limoges with prototypes and ergonomic studies for cutlery.

After returning to Valencia, I began collaborating with design studios and, in 2001, co-founded Perezroy, developing furniture, lighting, bathroom products, accessories and decorative objects for Spanish manufacturers.

In 2010, I co-founded Alum Design Works, with a particular focus on lighting and decorative product design. During this period, I worked with companies including Almerich Iluminación, Diseño 6 and Savoy House, combining product development, 3D modelling and photorealistic visualisation. I also collaborated on lighting projects with designer and Escola Massana professor Joan Sunyol i Gurnés under the DUAL brand.

Over the following years, my work expanded into furniture, upholstery, office environments, contract and interior design, collaborating with Spanish and international companies and developing projects for both European and Chinese brands.

Since 2024, I have been working through SOUME Creative Studio, developing furniture, outdoor, upholstery, contract and interior design projects. My work covers the entire design process, from concept and creative development to 3D modelling, visualisation, technical definition and production feasibility.

Throughout my career, I have remained particularly interested in the relationship between light, materials, form and space. I approach design as a balance between creativity, functionality and technical understanding, always looking for simple, meaningful and well-resolved solutions.
